Connecting in spiritual community,
we celebrate life with joy
grow in compassion
Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady
We are a liberal religious community, welcoming people of all ages, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities and physical abilities to our inclusive congregation. Our members have many different spiritual beliefs; we are bound, not by a common creed, but by our shared commitment to a religion that celebrates freedom, tolerance and reason. We welcome newcomers to join with us as we worship, sing, play, teach, study, and work for social justice together.

The Power of Our Stories
Rev. Margret A. O'Neall
Poet Muriel Rukeyser tells us "the universe is
made of stories, not atoms." Every person,
every being, everything has a story, in fact,
is a story, and all our stories interconnect.
Through our stories we know ourselves and each
other. Let us honor our stories.
