Connecting in spiritual community,
we celebrate life with joy
grow in compassion
Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady
We are a liberal religious community, welcoming people of all ages, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities and physical abilities to our inclusive congregation. Our members have many different spiritual beliefs; we are bound, not by a common creed, but by our shared commitment to a religion that celebrates freedom, tolerance and reason. We welcome newcomers to join with us as we worship, sing, play, teach, study, and work for social justice together.

Serendipity is a propensity for making fortunate discoveries while looking for something unrelated, an apparently random element of chance that unexpectedly enriches our lives. How can we focus the seeking in each and every day to increase our experience of the gifts of serendipity?
Religious Education: The religious education this Sunday morning will be our multigenerational Bread Communion worship service. The service will begin at 10:30am in the Great Hall. The nursery will be available for children up to kindergarten. All children are welcome in the service. The Coming of Age class will meet in Waters House from noon until 2pm.
