Connecting in spiritual community,
we celebrate life with joy
grow in compassion
Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady
We are a liberal religious community, welcoming people of all ages, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities and physical abilities to our inclusive congregation. Our members have many different spiritual beliefs; we are bound, not by a common creed, but by our shared commitment to a religion that celebrates freedom, tolerance and reason. We welcome newcomers to join with us as we worship, sing, play, teach, study, and work for social justice together.

What Unitarian Universalists Value Least
Rev. Bill Schulz, President, Unitarian Universalist Service Committee
You will be amused when you learn what human virtue falls at the very bottom of Unitarian Universalists’ ranking of values. But you may also be rightfully chagrined for, though we may not know it, this virtue also undergirds all of our work for social justice. How is the UUSC helping us rectify our shortsightedness?
